December Classic Motoring Events You Can’t Miss

It might be bitterly cold outside, but that shouldn’t stop you from attending these fantastic classic motoring events across the country. Here’s a list of some of our favourites – and don’t forget to wrap up warm!

5 December 17 – COYS True Greats Auction

If you’d like to treat yourself (or someone else) to a classic vehicle this Christmas, turn up to the COYS True Greats Auction in London. Their listing includes a 1987 Caterham Super 7 HPC-BDR and 1973 Triumph TR6. For more information visit their website.

8-12 December 17 – HERO’s Land’s End to John O’Groats Reliability Trial 

Considered by many as one of the most demanding and challenging classic motoring events in Europe, the HERO Land’s End to John O’Groats Reliability Trial is open to pre-1986 vehicles. For a full description of the route, and expected weather conditions, click here.

10 December 17 – Newark Autojumble

Browse an enormous range of classic motoring parts, accessories and memorabilia at the Newark Autojumble. Situated just off the A1/A46/A47 junction, this event offers you a last chance to stock up on gifts for the classic motoring enthusiast in your life before Christmas. Opens at 10am. Admission from £7.

16 December 17 Waterloo Classics

Join fellow classic vehicle owners at  the Lower Marsh Market – on Lower Marsh Street just behind Waterloo Station, between 12pm and 4pm on 16th December and enjoy a casual friendly atmosphere with plenty of refreshments on offer. A wonderful relaxed event that allows you to expand your classic motorist network and show off your favourite car.

26 December 17 – Benington Classics Boxing Day Special

From 12pm onwards, classic motoring enthusiasts and owners are welcome to join the company of likeminded petrol heads at The Lordship Arms, Stevenage. You don’t need to be a member to attend, and it’s completely free.
